The Fossavatnsgangan has, since its inception in 1935, never been cancelled due to lack of snow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, like in 2019 (see picture) the start was moved from the regular stadium of Seljalandsdalur, and sometimes the course is altered, but never cancelled. This year, the snow is very good and we expect to use whole 50 km course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The last time the mall collapsed was in 2020, and before that in 1954.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
