Fossavatnsgangan obliges all participants in the 25 and 50 km walk on Saturday to use a backpack during the race. This is done to ensure the safety of the competitors so that people can dress better if the weather turns bad.
It is mandatory to have the following in a backpack, outer jacket and outer trousers, hat and mittens. The weight of a backpack with these items must reach at least 1.5 kg.
A backpack must be like this or similar, you can pre-order as soon as you register and get a bag delivered as soon as your data is collected.
