The waterfall ice skating will take place on Thursday, March 31. You can download the competition data at the registry office from 12 the same day.
Non floating start: All participants start the race at the same time. Start is at 17.
Bus trips: There is enough space in the parking lots in connection with the Fossavatnsskauður, but a bus from Torfnes will be offered at 16 and back again at 19.
Store the clothes bag in the ski lodge: There is enough space to store clothes bags in the ski shed, outside or in the manure shed.
No backpack duty: It is not mandatory to carry a backpack like on Saturday.
No time limit: There is no specific maximum time for the walk.
Coffee buffet and award ceremony: A delicious coffee buffet will take place in the Torfnesi gymnasium from 15:00-17:00 on Saturday. The buffet is included in the participation fee in Fossavatnsskoutin.
Prizes are handed out at 16:00.
Fossavatnsgangan Free Style takes place on Thursday March 31st. Bibs are handed out at the race office from 12 o'clock the same day.
Start time: The race starts at 17:00 and all participants start at the same time.
Getting there: There are sufficient parking spaces for private cars at the start point of Fossavatn Free Style competition but participants can also take the bus from Torfnes Sports Hall at 16:00 and back at 19:00.
Store your stuff at the ski hut: There is plenty of space to store your backpack, clothes etc. at the ski hut, outside or the wax cabin.
No backpack requirements: Participants are not required to race with a backpack, unlike in the races on Saturday.
Cake buffet and prize ceremony: The famous post-race cake buffet takes place at Torfnes sports hall on Saturday April 2nd between 15:00 and 17:00 and is included in the registration fee for the free style competition.
Prizes are handed out for the winners in male and female categories directly after the race, but prizes for each age category are handed out during the cake buffet at approximately 16:00.
