Snorri Einarsson and Nadja Kälin won the Fossavatnsgangan free style 25 km

Local Snorri Einarsson made first place for men and Swiss Nadja Kälin won women's race in today's 25 km Fossavatngangan Free Style, held at Seljalandsdalur. The weather was delightful with sun and soft spring snow in the tracks. FamilyFossavatn 5 km and 1 km Children's Fossavatn were also held.

The Swiss Ilya Chernusov took second place in the men's category and the Norwegian Mathias Aas Rolid came in third, just over two minutes behind the first man. Not far behind them came Petter Soleng Skinstad and Robin Frommelt.

In the women's category, as mentioned above, Nadja Kälin won, Andrea Kolbeinsdóttir came second and local Dagný Emma Kristinsdóttir came third.

In the women's category in the 5 km race, María Sif Hlynsdóttir won, Sölvey Marie Tómasdóttir came second and Hekla Malín Ellertsdóttir third.

Matthías Karl Ólafsson won the men's 5 km race, Arnar Gauti Gíslason was second and Magnús Hrafn Einarsson third.
