Registration started for 2024
According to tradition, we open registration for the Fossavatnsgang on August 1. There is a great atmosphere for the next festival in 2024, many inquiries from abroad and we expect a fun party! Main dates: 27 March 2024 18 April 2024 20 April 2024 Registration fees are lower the earlier you register.

Preparation in full swing
Preparations are in full swing for the Fossavatnsgang. The conditions in the mountain are very good, a lot of snow on all the mountains and moors. No Covid-related measures are in effect anymore, so the cake buffet, seafood party and Fossavatnparty will be held in the old fashion. The attached photo is of Búrfell in February 2022.

With the approval from Icelandic health authorities, we are now able to continue in our preparation for the next Fossavatnsgangan April 15th -17th.
