Swiss and Norwegian gold in today's Fossavatnsgangan

Nadja Kaelin from Switzerland and Mathias Aas Rolid from Norway took the gold in 2023‘s Fossavatnsgangan in Ísafjörður, Iceland. The 50 km route had to be shortened to 46 km, because of lack of snow, but contestants agreed that the racecourse conditions were allover good, with plenty of gliding.

The weather was stable, with temperatures around 0°C, no wind and fog in the highest points of the track.
